Notice of Change – Federal, Ontario or Quebec
If you are incorporated and have moved your head office, elected or resigned directors and/or officers, you need to update this information to the appropriate government body. We can file these updates electronically so that you know with certainty that your changes have been processed.

Amendment (Company name change)
If you are incorporated Federally or in Ontario and are thinking of changing your company name it is a two-step process. A Nuans® name search is required before filing the appropriate government forms.
FEDERAL AMENDMENT - A Federal Amendment is filed electronically and the approval process is normally 24-48 hours. You can expect to receive your Certificate of Amendment electronically. We will then file the changes with the Ontario Ministry or Registraire des Entreprises in Quebec as well.
$369.90 plus taxes (includes $200 govt fee and Nuans® name search)
ONTARIO AMENDMENT – An Ontario Amendment cannot be filed electronically and must be signed by a director. We submit the Nuans® name search, prepare the forms and send them to you to sign and enclose payment of the government fee of $150. You will receive your Certificate of Amendment directly from the Ontario Ministry within 2-4 weeks.

QUEBEC AMENDMENT - A Quebec Amendment to change the company name is filed electronically and the approval process varies but you should expect anywhere from 7-10 business days. Prior to filing your Amendment a name search is performed to ensure availability of the name. You will need a French version or French and English version of your name.
